The team at Fast Forward welcomes Madison Gerken to our summer team!

Originally from McCool Junction, NE, she just recently graduated from Hastings College earning an undergraduate degree in Secondary Science Education. Madison and her fiancé have two miniature dachshunds and love to spend free time with family and friends, as well as  traveling around the world.

After the role with Fast Forward this fall, she will be teaching 7th Grade Science at Holdrege Middle School as well as coaching cross country.

Learning more about the electric industry, like public power districts and electric cooperatives, Madison will be helping Fast Forward with implementing CRM data and regional events. “I have really enjoyed working with Fast Forward, and I look forward to working here for the remainder of this summer,” said Madison.

CEO Dusty Birge mentioned, “it is great to support the broader Nebraska community offering both part-time and full-time opportunities, that in-turn educate people about the crucial role that reliable power plays in our daily lives, and the new maintenance methodologies that can support it. Fast Forward solutions substantially improve power grids and it’s a pleasure to have Madison help us get that message out before she takes on her next important role in Holdrege.”
