Arden Whisenand Joins the Team

Profile PictureArden Whisenand, joins Fast Forward as the teams Lead Technical Sales Representative, supporting outside sales efforts. As Arden joins the team, Fast Forward has already saved over $1M in power outages for electric utilities.

Arden said “When I saw the Fast Forward solution, I realized this is a disruptive solution which will make significant impact on the reliability of the nation’s electrical infrastructure. Getting this solution into the hands of utilities is going to be the single most important accomplishment of my professional career.”

Arden received a Computer Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, and transitioned to Nebraska Public Power District where he ran the systems which kept the lights on.

Desiring to help more utilities Arden joined General Electric where he provided technical solutions to customer throughout the central United States. Later Arden moved his family to Georgia to be the face of GE for Southern Company, the largest utility group in the United States. Working for Siemens, Arden had global responsibility for a business unit out of Calgary Canada which provided cybersecurity solutions for utility operations.

Arden and his wife Jenny live on their 4th generation farm in central Nebraska where they spend time with their horses. Arden and Jenny have 3 grown kids Tymothy, Dusty and Amanda and enjoy spending time with their growing families. Arden is actively involved in the Gideons and enjoys documenting the history of this great country through photography and metal detecting.

Fast Forward helps electric utility companies’ lower inspection costs by automating annual patrol & inspections of powerlines, significantly reducing power outage and wildfire potential.
