Fast Forward is pleased to announce the addition of POLUX, a non-destructive Pole Testing technology in conjunction with Inner-Pole Testing.

Jerry Fales, Journeyman lineman and Senior Technical Analyst at Fast Forward, said "This is a really simple way to test poles and not end up with such subjective data as seen in other methods. The consolidation of inspection data into a single spot will really help record keeping."

Now combined with our vehicle-based component level inspection, Fast Forward and Inner-Pole Testing can deliver a turn-key project directly improving asset reliability and maintenance optimization.

Both methods are among the fastest and most economical to deploy, should you be considering different options that are less intrusive than what you might be doing.

Dusty Birge, CEO of Fast Forward said, "The value to the customer in having both a structural integrity test and a component level inspection on the same interval is great for proactive utilities. Having such a rapid pace is the most logical and economical process for the ratepayer, especially when trying to find ways to increase reliability. This partnership is going to be stellar for the industry!"

Fast Forward merges the results from both inspection methods into (1) report and activity log, accessible by phone or desktop!

"At Inner-Pole Testing, our commitment to delivering objective, data-driven results has always been at the heart of our mission. We can ensure that wood poles remain safe until the next inspection cycle, while prioritizing replacements. With the integration of automated thermal inspections, we can now provide asset managers with a comprehensive overview of each pole's condition ensuring safe and reliable power to the customer,” said Inner-Pole Testing President, Adam Nelson.
